Cursillo is an ecumenical movement that offers people a way to help themselves and each other to live their daily lives as Christians. The movement and the name, "Cursillo" came from Spain. The full title "Cursillos de Christiandad", means "short courses" in Christian living. Cursillo starts with a three-day weekend of 15 short discussions by clergy and lay people, interspersed with good food, singing, praying, and laughter. It's a shared experience within a closely-knit group in an informal atmosphere, in which spiritual renewal and growth are explored. Topics run the gamut from "a call to be fully human" to "living a Christian life". Meditations, Eucharist, and devotional periods are an integral part of the weekend. When the weekend is over, Cursillo really begins.
The Men's Cursillo, is the weekend of April 3-6, 2008. Steve Reiter is on the team.
The Women's Cursillo, is the weekend of April 17-20, 2008. Anya Artigiani is the Rectora. Chris Stuart and Ellie Reiter are on the team.
